ahhhh! i can’t wait to go see mark bradford’s show at the ICA! just need to make it through these last 2 hellish weeks of school… yes it’s textural, repetitive, grungy, all of which i’m easily drawn too, but what’s great about his work is he collects bits of found material from his neighborhood to create these pieces. the material alone has its own story and then it comes together to create something even bigger. awesome.

i must find $82 to spend on a beautiful handwoven scarf by pidgepidge… or have her teach me how to make them. ohh i could sit and make scarves all day. still kicking myself for not being a textile major during undergrad. i hate staring at computers. i want to touch!
